Representative Nick LaRusso has agreed to sponsor our bill in the State House. He even volunteered some staff time to help us write the bill! Representative LaRusso's sponsorship is the first step towards seeing our security district become a reality. We will be working with his office over the next few months to iron out the details. If we can find a sponsor in the State Senate as well, we will be able to bring this thing to a vote there. If the bill gets past the House and the Senate, then we are on to a general election. Let the games begin!
